This school year marks my 33rd year working with students in public education and my 16th year in the Argyle Independent School District. After spending 24 years as a classroom teacher and basketball coach, I moved to school administration in 2013, and I am now beginning my 9th year of being a principal. Argyle is my home, and I feel very blessed to be working with the students and parents of this community. My door is always open, and I welcome anyone who wants to meet and discuss the happenings of Argyle High School.

I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Christy King, for 32 years, and we have two grown children - both educators - and one grandson (Thomas). Our son, Wesley, is a math teacher in the Denton ISD. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Michelle. Our daughter, Kaylie, is a kindergarten teacher at Paloma Creek Elementary in the Denton ISD. You might say that we are a family of educators and are proud of the work we do every day.
