My name is Kathleen Fortino, also known as Nurse Kat. I am the nurse at Argyle West. I graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing then received my certification as a Registered Nurse with the Texas Board of Nursing. I have 27 years of experience ranging from Step Down ICU, Labor & Delivery, Coordinator for Health & Wellness, and working at a pediatric practice.

Though I enjoy all areas of nursing, my real passion is for children and their families. I have vast experience in school nursing for the past seven years including special needs children with numerous medical conditions. I am so excited to be part of Argyle West.
